Celebrity fashion stylist Andrew Gelwicks is looking for interns to start immediately in New York City. Please note this is an unpaid internship. This is a fast-pace position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to immerse yourself in the trenches of celebrity styling.Talent Andrew has worked with include Sarah Jessica Parker, Catherine O’Hara, Laura Dern, Rachel Brosnahan, Allison Williams, Edie Falco, Leslie Bibb, Uzo Aduba, Bette Midler, Busy Phillips, Kathy Bates, Minnie Driver, Amy Madigan, Molly Ringwald, Winnie Harlow, Rosie Perez, Susan Sarandon, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, among others.POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:● Assisting with VIP fittings and photoshoots● Real-world experience with celebrity styling for red carpets, press tours, etc.● First-hand look into the operation of a styling business● Gaining strong understanding into the intricacies of the fashion industryRESPONSIBILITIES:● Manage and keep inventory of all samples coming in and out of the showroom● Picking up and dropping off samples from designers’ studios● Helping pull/shop for fittings/shoots● Preparing for fittings/shoots and being there day-ofREQUIREMENTS:● Be able to work a minimum of 2-3 days a week● Passion and basic understanding of the fashion industry● Strong organizational skillsPlease note this is an unpaid internship and applicants must be based in New York City or easily able to commute.
