Aritzia will first restore the Melrose location, including revitalizing the façade’s ivy that was damaged during a recent storm. The site will evolve into an “entirely new, experiential destination that reflects the creative spirit that has defined both brands.” {Fashionista inbox}Remake closesRemake, a non-profit centered on promoting sustainability in the fashion industry, is closing its doors after 10 years. “Over the past two years, funding for labor organizing and climate justice work has declined sharply, and we’ve felt that impact deeply,” Remake said in its farewell statement.
