Annie's Enters a New Chapter for Fall 2026

In anticipation of its Fall 2026 show, the brand formerly known as Annie’s Ibiza shortened its name to, simply, Annie’s, marking a new chapter for the label.”At its core, it’s always Annie’s Ibiza. But I think, as we are so worldwide now, it’s not just Ibiza. That was me when I was 19,” Founder and Designer Annie Doble told Fashionista backstage after her Thursday night runway show. “Then [the London store] came around and now there’s New York — and everyone in America loves us. I think the stores are only ‘Ibiza’ because [they have] that flair of Ibiza. But I think the collections are me. They’re just Annie’s.”After launching Annie’s Ibiza as a multibrand and vintage boutique in 2018, Doble began designing original garments in 2020 after earning a spot on the official London Fashion Week schedule. This season was a sort of “homecoming,” as Doble called it in the show notes. (She hadn’t shown since last February.)”This collection is the most personal that I’ve ever made,” she said. “Every single piece has got a history or a detail — whether it’s an 18th-century vase that I collected 10 years ago or a 1920s bedsheet that inspired me to make a dress. It’s complete Annie’s. It embodies everything that Annie’s Ibiza is. It’s fun, it’s wild, it’s free, it’s completely unapologetic. I think this collection really homed in on that.”

Inspired by vintage textiles with a general theme of opulence, Fall 2026 centers around a rich color scheme of golds, royal blues, soft candy apple reds and tropical yellows. Most pieces are fully embroidered with pearls, glass beads and other various embellishments, while some sparkle solely from glistening brocade fabrics.”Every single dress is handmade and takes 12 weeks to make one,” Doble explained. “I think that’s one thing maybe people don’t always understand — the craft in our pieces. I want to make something that’s timeless, that can be passed down through generations.”In addition to the intricately detailed occasion-wear (gilded hot pants, ornate shoulder capes, fully hand-beaded gowns, tights with three-dimensional designs), Doble also included some more wearable pieces for her customers.”Doing the trousers and the jacket was really fun, because it’s the first time that we’ve made a pair of trousers,” she said. “I basically make everything because I want to wear it. We made jackets that can go from day to night. You can go to a meeting or you can do whatever. But I feel like it’s still quite chic.”Although this new era for Doble’s original work is technically separate from the curations in her many boutiques, it’s still largely inspired by the antique items she’s spent so many years sourcing.”I think clothes in the past were so well-made, and I really want to capture that. I want someone to get you [an Annie’s] dress for your 18th birthday, but you’ll still be wearing it for your 35th birthday,” she said. “Once you start collecting those key pieces and you have them in your wardrobe, you’ve always got something to wear and you’ve got things to really love and cherish that you can pass down to your daughters one day. For me, that’s the most sustainable way of shopping, and that’s Annie’s at its core.”See every look from Annie’s Fall 2026 collection below.
