Natasha Zinko Does Soccer-Ball Tops, Grocery-Bag Skirts and Packing-Tape Belts for Fall 2026

Natasha Zinko began her journey as a designer by using everyday objects found around her home and given to her by family members. So for Fall 2026, she returned to that mentality, centering the designs around family, community and the tangible items that come from them.In Zinko’s world, deflated soccer balls make blouses, oven mitts are high-fashion accessories, plastic grocery bags transform into skirts and logo-covered leather packing tape works as a belt. Oddball layering and extreme asymmetry punctuate the collection.”This collection is about family business, and it’s actually about my family, your family, getting people together,” she told Fashionista backstage after her Friday night show. As such, she took a different approach to casting this season, choosing models who “all represent different communities” and are “so authentic.” “I never asked them to change themselves,” she added. “I told them not to be a model, but be yourself.” There was a wide range of ages, body types, backgrounds, heights and even species on the runway. (A very well-behaved toy poodle sat on the arm of an equally patient model).

One model stood out in particular: None other than Mel B of the Spice Girls closed the show, skipping through the crowd in a bubble-hemmed plaid overcoat and heels with the face of a dog on the toes. “Today, Mel B was so supportive and so nice. I’m so shy to go to the audience [and take my bow] but I said ‘I’ll go with her,'” Zinko explained. “It was not planned, but I understand that she has such a power. It was just easier [to do it with her].”See every look from Natasha Zinko’s Fall 2026 collection below.
