LIM College is shaking up the traditional career fair experience. The Spring 2026 semester marks the launch of “Career Connect Week,” a series of panels, office visits, hiring sessions, resume reviews and industry conversations designed to create real connection between LIM students and the employers looking to meet, mentor and recruit them.”Students want more specialization, highly curated opportunities and smaller spaces to have meaningful conversations instead of standing in long lines only to have a rushed, impersonal exchange. Employers agree. They are looking for the right students, with the right skills at the right moment,” says Maria Hedian, Vice President of Career & Internship Services at LIM College. The five days of Career Connect Week include experiences such as:LIM x Christian Louboutin: Inside the BrandLIM alumni and current interns working at Christian Louboutin give inside insight on what it’s like inside the brand, from getting hired to growing your career.Catalyst Brands Corporate Office ExperienceStudents tour the main office of Catalyst Brands (Aeropostale, Lucky Brand, Brooks Brothers, JCPenney and more) and hear from teams across design, merchandising and other areas before networking with the HR team and department leaders.LVMH Class of 2026 Career DayRepresentatives share insights into rotational, trainee and management training programs across participating Maisons, offering students the opportunity to explore leadership pathways within the luxury industry. This is followed by networking conversations. Participating Maisons include LVMH North America, Bulgari, Louis Vuitton Americas and Christian Dior Couture. Prior to Career Connect Week, LIM hosts preparation sessions where students learn how to optimize how they present themselves and effectively start the journey to achieving their dream careers. Says Hedian, “Fashion never stands still, so neither do we. At LIM we’re continually reimagining what career exploration looks like so that our students have as many opportunities for professional growth and connection as possible.”
