Paul Wilmot Communications is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Junior Account Executive to join its expanding Beauty team. The ideal candidate will effectively support the division with media outreach, beauty awards, planning events and managing interns.Founded in New York City 1997 with an office that opened in Nashville in 2022, Paul Wilmot Communications has produced a significant public relations track record drawing from the highest profile fashion houses, beauty and wellness brands, retailer and e-comm powerhouses, as well as hospitality, non-profit and luxury lifestyle clientele. By cross-promoting within our divisions, PWC offers our clients access to new markets, thought leadership and increased visibility.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a breadth of experience across beauty and wellness public relations with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in this area. This candidate will manage a roster of editorial contacts spanning beauty, wellness and lifestyle press, and have the ability to secure product placements, beauty awards, event coverage, news announcements and ongoing editorial on behalf of clients. This candidate will in-depth knowledge of the evolving beauty & wellness media landscape and regularly contribute to new ideas for placement opportunities.Support PWC’s Beauty Division on selected accounts with guidance and direction from the senior teamHandle day-to-day pitching with designated contacts and outreach initiativesAttend divisional meetings equipped with pertinent updates and pitch ideasDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of relevant media outlets through identifying trending pitch ideas and accurate contacts to pitch with the ability to generate results based on this expertiseA strong understanding and awareness of influential content creators and social mediatrends of the momentMonthly meetings with editorsWork team events and handle all responsibilities delegated, including but not limited to setup, check-in, liaising with client, etc.Maintain contact/media listsContinually update status reports to ensure pitching efforts on trackAbility to communicate on a professional level with client contacts and Agency LeadershipBuild strong working knowledge of Muckrack media database systemMaintain PWC standards of professionalism and courtesyQUALIFICATIONS:Must have 1-2 years of professional experience with prior internships in the beauty public relations industryMust be good communicator with good writing skillsMust demonstrate a keen interest in the beauty and wellness fieldMust possess experience in product placement public relations for beauty & wellness brandsProven relationships with beauty editors a plusStrong writing and computer skills, as well as knowledge of social mediaThe hiring compensation for this position ranges from $55,000-65,000.
