Our environment is public-facing, personal, and highly considered—every interaction matters.The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Client Advisor & Project Manager to manage both in-store client experience and full personalized ring journeys from inquiry through delivery.This is a senior-level role for someone who enjoys holding multiple high-touch projects at once—balancing client communication, timelines, and internal coordination—while remaining present on the sales floor to support walk-ins and scheduled appointments.You will serve as the primary steward for many of our custom engagement ring and wedding band projects, overseeing each client’s journey across a 2–3 month production window, while supporting day-to-day in-store sales and studio flow.This is not a traditional retail role. It is a hybrid of client relationship management, long-cycle project coordination, and in-store sales within a design-led business.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Journey & Project Stewardship— Manage full personalized engagement ring and wedding band journeys from initial consultation through final delivery— Oversee multiple concurrent custom projects across 2–3 month production timelines— Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive updates and clear communication throughout the process— Track approvals, milestones, timelines, and next steps with precision and care— Monitor production timelines in collaboration with the Lead Designer, ensuring visibility across milestones and that any risks or delays are surfaced early and communicated clearlyIn-Store Client Experience & Sales— Work from the boutique and manage day-to-day in-store activity— Welcome and support walk-in clients, walk-in appointments, and scheduled appointments— Lead and support engagement ring, wedding band, and fine jewelry consultations in alignment with SHW’s design philosophy— Maintain a calm, grounded presence in a small, public-facing retail environmentClient Communication & CRM— Manage client communication via email, phone, and CRM with warmth, clarity, and consistency— Prepare thoughtful appointment recaps and next-step communications— Maintain accurate client records, timelines, and follow-ups in internal systemsTeam & Studio Collaboration— Work closely with the Lead Designer to coordinate client journeys and internal handoffs— Contribute insights from client interactions to improve workflows and client experience— Support opening/closing procedures and overall studio operationsWho You Are— Experienced, grounded, and confident in client-facing roles— Comfortable managing multiple high-touch projects simultaneously— Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable— Clear and thoughtful communicator, especially around timelines and expectations— Collaborative by nature and comfortable working cross-functionally— Calm under pressure and able to navigate emotionally meaningful client moments— Interested in long-term growth within a small, design-driven businessQualifications— 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role involving project ownership, hospitality, luxury, or service-driven environments— Experience managing longer-cycle client projects (custom, made-to-order, or production-based work strongly preferred)— Strong written and verbal communication skills— Comfortable working in-person in a small retail studio— Availability to work some weekends— NYC-based— Prior jewelry, bridal, or luxury goods experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with engagement ring design, gemstone terminology, or custom fine jewelry processes is especially valuable in this role.Compensation & Growth— $32/hour base + team performance commission.
